�But I would argue that truly great actors, and they are few and far between, are the ones who somehow have the ability to push reality to its very limits, to the point where it teeters on the brink of absurdity. And yet somehow, they never cross that invisible line. They and in turn we, the audience, never lose sight of the truth of their situation.

One of the most striking examples I�ve ever seen of this is Patrick McGoohan�s performance in The Prisoner episode Once Upon A Time. Here is a perfect example of an actor taking chance after chance, stretching that paper-thin credibility that every actor must maintain on-screen to its very limits. In my opinion it is a tour-de-force: a true work of art. And it will always stand as a fitting testament to the incredible talent of Patrick McGoohan.�
